Description:

My wife and my first dive ever and it was great. We went on a discover diving trip through Fathom Five dive shop. Access to the water is really easy down an old boat ramp. Water was clear and temps were avg for Kauai in the winter. After our orientation and what to do lessons we descended into the depths. There were plenty of marine animals there to keep our interest. We saw 3 sea turtles on the bottom and managed to also to find a spotted eagle ray which apparently isn't so common there. There are lots of angelfish and wrasses there and lots of urchins and starfish. We found a couple of small eels as well.
