KwaZulu Natal is the Eastern Province of South Africa bordered by the Indian Ocean in the East and the Drakensberg Mountain range to the west. The main diving areas are Sodwana Bay about 4 hours drive north of Durban, Durban itself and the KwaZulu Natal South Coast with Aliwal Shoal and Protea Banks. Warm climate and the relativley warm ocean make KwaZulu Natal a year round diving destination.
