Diving here is nice with good corals. This is a good place after diving the Blue Hole (25 min north).
For non-divers, the main attraction of the caye is the red-footed Boobies; a protected specie of the endangered list. Nesting of the Boobies begins in mid-December and continues until late in March. Up to 120 other species of bird are found at Half Moon Caye.
