The Sea of Cortez is one of the most prolific bodies of water on earth. There are over 850 species of reef fish, including big ones !.
The area is well known for encounters with large pelagics such as whalesharks and giant mantas, hammerheads school. You also see stingrays, sea lions (you can dive with them at the southern end of Baja: Cabo San Lucas), sea turtles, large grouper... |
