Additional Infos

This is a very popular site in Belgium. There is a bus and helicopter sunk at the site to explore. There are several other interesting things on the bottom as well. I found a 3m tall wine cask, a statue of a scuba diver, several "road signes", etc. The lake is home to lots of small fish, and a few larger perch on some of the "wrecks". One of the best things about it is the restaurant. They have GREAT steaks for a very reasonable price. Pre-order when you get there in the morning, dive, then have a steak lunch during your surface interval. Tank re-fills are available for 3 euro, and the fee for diving there is 3 euro per day...total of 6 euro plus 10 euro for a great lunch makes for a very reasonable dive day.

Second Taille dive
This was the second dive at the lake.  Got some good nav practice as we went after the bus and the helicopter.  Found the bus and several large perch at about 60'.  It was completely dark so exploring the bus was a challenge.&nbs

First dive at Taille Lake
First dive in Plate Taille.  In fact this is our first dive in Belgium besides Nemo 33.  It was a rainy day with very little sun (typical) so the water was dark.  Needed lights below 40', and it was dark as night at 70'.
