Basque country is an interesting place to dive. Many divers from Bordeaux, usually diving into Arachon bay, goes to Basque country for some dives. French advanced levels requires 40m to be validated.
Almost all dives are deeper than 20m. The coast is often wavy, so many dives are only availiable by boat. There are several interesting wrecks, such as the Cruz secundo, and interesting shoals (Aroca, les esclaves, etc.). |
