Yeu is a charming island, located just 10 miles from the main coast. Many tourists visit the island, mainly by bicycle. There is a dive center located into 'Le Port de la Meule', on the south side.
There are many wrecks in the area: The German U-976 U-boat wreck, the Sequana wreck, the John Mc Cullough wreck... Some of these wrecks can also be reached from Noirmoutier or les Sables d'Olonnes. |
