She sunk on her maiden voyage to Cyprus in 7 June 1980 off Larnaca's fishing harbor. She was a 10,000 ton ferry; 178 m long. Zenobia is now lying on her side at 42 meters. She has three decks, and two stern doors (1 port, 1 starboard) , powered by two 7 cylinder, single acting, oil-fired two strokes engines.
The ferry was fully loaded with 108 trailers and trucks, that are now resting on the sea floor..., marine life includes moray eels, scorpionfish, fire worms, damselfish, nudibranchs, amberjacks, grouper among others.

alpha divers - hi guys would recommend to use the above named dive company, Chris and crew have a great set up and he knows the wreck well

I spent a year diving the Xenobia in 1999. Some great times. Good to see her on Google Earth but most of the photos are well out of position. Look closer and you will see the dive boats clustered around the site. Even closer and you can just see the outline of the wreck.
