Dive site is really two different locations, North beach, which is the wall dive and you can easily hit 130+ ft. Great for photography. No spearfishing is allowed. This is an Advanced dive site with dangerous surf entry and exits. Do not dive if waves are breaking.
South Beach, best place for divers new to area. Safest entry/exit when any surf is present. Kelp bed diving. Recommend you start here.
It is common to dog walk out during exits as beach is steep and waves break hard. It's known by locals as "The Monastery Crawl". Save plenty of air for exit. A night dive here is for experts only.

Great dive site - I have done this site many times. It is an advanced dive site with Kelp forest and a deep dive site for those who like to dive deep. Lost to explore in kelp forrest on the north end. The south end of this beach is much shallower and full of life. Great night dive site. much easier access on the south end. The north end can be a bite trouble-some if the surf is high. But with good timing and much determination, made it in just fine.

- Nice place to dive, lot's of things to see. The beach is steep, but well worth it.

Kelp and Deep - Dove this about five years ago. Shore diving can be rough based off the tides. Did a few boat dives in the coral/kelp forest. Pretty good diving in the right conidtions. Can get deep pretty quick1
