 Additional Information

English (Translate this text in English): Verde Island Diving is excellent, with warm water, 30m plus on average visibility and good fish and coral life all add up to a world class destination.

Depending on state of tide the current on the wall face can be nothing to very strong >3 knts and very easy to miss the duck back around/over the wall, at the end to get out of current and into shelter, and not get swept away from the island. But a drift along the wall is a must.

- Très joli site; trsè poissonneux en haut. Quelques gorgones sur le tombant avec éponges mais rien d'exceptionnel. Le mieux est vers les 15m!

Washing Machine and the Drop Off - The Verde Island dive site has two popular diving spots which are the Washing Machine and the Drop Off. You will see many schools of fish and different kinds of corals especially on the Drop Off Verde Island dive site because you dive up to a pinnacle where you may even see some sea snakes cradled up sleeping their time away. You may occasionally spot a turtle and big schools of jacks and banner fishes. The Drop Off Verde Island dive site is 80 meters deep and you can do a maximum depth of 30 to 40 meters depending on your experience level. The Washing Machine Verde Island dive site is quite different and does not only excite you with the marine life, but rather with its strong currents that run through interlocking canyons that cause a washing machine effect which will tear you in many random directions
