Accès par les ports de Marseille, mais le plus facile est celui de Pointe Rouge où les mises à l'eau sont vastes ( une intérieure près des magasins qui est protégée du vent et de la houle, l'autre extérieure plus exposée au ressac) Le parking de la mise à l'eau extérieure est immense et pour le moment gratuit!! Vous êtes loin de Marseille 17Km Attention l'accès par le port de Cassis est très difficile, la mise à l'eau est très dissuasive ( barrière, interphone, capitainerie etc...) et compliquée, de plus en fin d'après midi il est presque impossible de sortir du secteur du port avec une remorque!! Le départ du port de La Ciotat est un peu loin: 11 Km!!! Faites une tentative en Hiver c'est un peu plus facile vous pouvez mettre vos affaires sur la plage du Bestouan, mais renseignez-vous auprès de la Mairie il y avait en période estivale une interdiction de toute activité sur cette plage!!! Impossible de manquer cette plongée la sortie de la résurgence est matérialisée par un très grand rectangle marron en renfoncement dans la falaise, de plus l'eau douce trouble la surface.
Vous faites le début de la grotte et surtout ne vous aventurez pas profond si vous n'avez pas la configuration et la compétence spéléo!!!
De gros tuyaux passent à l'intérieur de la grotte sur la gauche , ils évacuent dans une fosse au large de Cassis, les boues rouges de l'usine de traitement de la Bauxite de Gardanne!!
L'entrée est extrêmement riche il y a en plus des moules et des huitres mais surtout ne les consommez pas elles vous donneront de très graves troubles intestinaux l'eau douce qui leur apporte des nutriments est polluée
Rien de bien passionnant aux abords de la grotte c'est triste et terne
